🏅 How to Participate

For Customer Review-Based Awards

You’re automatically included.
All verified reviews from Hostelworld guests between 1 January and 31 December 2025 are counted in the HOSCAR calculations.
No application or submission is required.

For Responsible Travel Awards

To enter the Responsible Travel categories:

Choose up to two categories (Community, Culture, Environment).
Write a 300-word entry explaining your initiative.
Include optional visuals (photos or short videos).
Submit your entry via the official SurveyMonkey submission link.
Wait for confirmation — you’ll be contacted if you’re shortlisted.
