      How to set up the Counter Booking Engine?

      Get direct and commission-free bookings thanks to Counter! You can create a link to share on your website, social media (Instagram, Facebook, etc.), Whatsapp and many other channels.

      Steps to set up your Booking Engine:

      1. Go to the beds tab → Automate → Booking Engine → Click 'ON'.
      2. Choose the name (unique code) you want to display in the URL of your booking engine.
        For e.g.: if you choose 'myhostel', the link will have the following structure:
        https://frontdesk.counter.app/booking/myhostel
      3. Go to T&C and add all the information you wish to include for the guest.
      4. Optional: Add the Google Analytic or Facebook Pixel ID.
      5. Optional: Enable the collection of credit card information from the guest. This allows for automatic billing through our integration with Stripe. Contact us if you want to know more about the automatic payments through Counter.
      6. Save changes.

      What information will be displayed in the Booking Engine?

      • The images and descriptions added to the Room Types.
      • The Rate Plans that are set as 'Visible' in the Booking Engine.
      • The Terms and Conditions detailed in the T&C section of the Booking Engine. Recommendation: Include all important guest information (Check-in time, Check-out time, age limits, property rules, cancellation policies, etc.).
