Adding clear and accurate photos helps guests understand your room types and improves booking confidence.

🛠️ Step 1: Open the Room Images Section

Log in to your Hostelworld Inbox

Go to Property Setup

Select Microsite Content
-
Click Images
-
Choose Room Images
This will display a list of all room types on the left-hand side.
🖼️ Step 2: View and Manage Your Room Image Gallery
When you select a room type:

You will see all images currently assigned to that room

The main gallery shows all property photos available for use
If you need more images, click Upload to add new photos.
➕ Step 3: Add Images to a Room
You can add images to a room in two ways:
Option A: Drag & Drop

Drag any picture from the gallery and drop it onto the room’s image area
Option B: Use the Plus Icon

Click the + (plus sign) on any image to attach it to the selected room
Image Limits

You can add up to 5 images per room
🔀 Step 4: Organise Room Images
You can reorder photos by dragging and dropping them into your preferred sequence.
This order determines how images appear on your listing.
💾 Step 5: Save Your Changes
Once you are happy with your images:

Click SAVE

Confirm by selecting YES
This applies your updates to the room.
🗑️ Removing Images From a Room
To remove an image:

Click Remove Image from Room
-
Click SAVE
-
Confirm changes
This removes the picture from the room but does not delete it from your overall gallery.
⏳ Important Notes

Updates may take up to 24 hours to appear online

Maximum 5 images per room

Remember to press SAVE after every change
