Is it possible to cancel bookings directly in my Channel Manager?

Yes, you should be able to cancel a booking in your channel manager, and the cancellation will be sent through to the Hostelworld Inbox. The Hostelworld API can receive cancellations directly from your channel manager or property management system via the "setcancellation" call.

Hostelworld provides this function to all channel managers. Please contact your channel manager or property management system to get it activated.

*If your channel manager does not support the Hostelworld "setcancellation" call, please contact them directly to inquire about a possible implementation date.

**Please note that bookings can only be cancelled if the customer requested the cancellation. In case of an accidental overbooking, you will need to agree on a solution with the customer, such as relocating them or refunding their deposit, before you can cancel the booking.
