🔗 How to connect your Hostelworld profile to a Channel Manager
To connect your Hostelworld profile with a Channel Manager, you’ll need to send us a written request.
✉️ Step 1: Request the connection
Email us at support@hostelworld.com using your registered property email address.
We can only process requests that come from the official email linked to your property’s Hostelworld account.
✅ Step 2: Complete these checks before we enable the connection
Before we can activate the XML connection, please make sure you’ve done the following:

Verify your room setup.
Go to your Hostelworld Inbox → Rates & Availability and check your rooms.
Add or remove room types if needed.

Check and download your bookings.
Visit the New Bookings section and download any reservations you haven’t saved yet.

Confirm you’re ready to activate XML.
Once everything looks good, reply to confirm that you’re ready for us to switch on the XML connection.
⚙️ Step 3: XML activation and setup
After the XML connection is enabled, you’ll no longer be able to update your rates or availability directly on Hostelworld — those updates must be managed through your Channel Manager.
To help prevent overbookings while you finish setting things up with your Channel Manager, we’ll temporarily close availability for up to 12 months.
If you’d prefer us to keep your availability open, just let us know in your email request.
