First, the **"All Platforms"** option allows properties to showcase their promotions across all devices, ensuring maximum visibility. If you prefer to target desktop users exclusively, our **"Desktop web"** platform will enable you to optimize your reach on this platform. The **"App only"** option is perfect for those seeking a mobile-centric strategy, tapping into the ever-growing mobile user base. Lastly, our **"App and mobile web"** option provides a holistic approach, targeting mobile web and app users, ensuring a broad reach among travellers. These rules categorize promotions as either **stacking or non-stacking**, determining how they interact and affect the final discount applied to bookings. This article will delve into the distinction between those promotions and provide examples to help clarify the concept. **Stacking Promotions:** Stacking promotions can be applied on top of other promotions. They allow properties to offer additional discounts calculated based on the final discounted price. Only **one stacking promotion per platform** can be applied to the final discount. For example, if a property has multiple "App only" promotions, the system will pick the promotion with the highest discount value among the "App only" promotions. These promotions work cumulatively, allowing guests to benefit from multiple promotions simultaneously. In this case, the choice of the discount is determined by the promotion with the highest discount value among the non-stacking promotions available. In this scenario, the "Last Minute" promotion has the highest non-stacking discount enabled by the property, which is 10%. The initial booking price is reduced by 10% to €90. Next, we apply the stacking promotions on top of the discounted price. The "App & Mobile-web 1" promotion offers a 15% discount, resulting in a price of €76.50. In this case, the "Length of Stay" promotion has the highest non-stacking discount enabled by the property, which is 12%. The initial price of the booking is reduced by 12% to €88. Next, we apply the stacking promotions on top of the discounted price. The "App & Mobile-web 1" promotion offers a 13% discount, resulting in a price of €76.56. The initial price of the booking is reduced by 15% to €85. Next, we apply the highest available stacking promotions at a discounted price. The highest Mobile promotion offers a 15% discount, resulting in a price of €72.25.
